The Universities

The collaborating universities and university colleges in the Øresund Region have some 165,000 students, 10,000 researchers, and 6,000 PhD-students, making the Øresund Region a stronghold for research and education. Each institution has a different background and history, and they vary in size, the number of students, and areas of specialisation - some specialise in one or two areas of study, while others are multi-faculty institutions and offer study programmes in a range of subjects.

You can get a quick area overview by consulting the table below or find out more about each institution by following the links to the left.
